Sales Representative

The Sales Representative — Event Platform position (Part Time) is responsible for generating revenue by generating leads, and closing sales of identified and assigned new business opportunities in the Event industry for the Sweet Caesar Event Platform (Mobile Event Guide product) business. Success in this position requires the ability to making cold and warm calls, prepare and present software demos online, handle contract negotiations, and close new deals. We are specifically looking for a candidate in the Toronto area, so that the sales representative can come in to office once a week.

A successful Sales Rep for the Sweet Caesar Mobile Event Platform will have a strong familiarity with the Event/Festival market. We are seeking junior to mid-level candidates with experience in the Event Industry and able to generate revenue.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and manage the sales process for a diverse group of assigned new business opportunities.
  • Develop attack plans for assigned opportunities.
  • Effectively manage a sales pipeline and achieve sales targets and forecasts.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and professional proposals to prospective and existing customers.
  • If appropriate, respond to RFI's (Request for Information) and RFP's (Request for Proposal).
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, results and forecast.
  • Provide market feedback and accurate forecasting to the management team to optimize strategy and positioning of offerings.
  • Close/negotiate contract sales.
  • If appropriate, Attend trade shows and industry conventions.

Required:

  • Background in event industry, or sales background.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, mobile applications, online demos
  • Core understanding and working knowledge of the Event industry

Senior Server Developer

Pre-sales / Lead Generation Specialist

The candidate will implement and deliver frontend software designs using modern industry best-practices: continuous integration and iterative customer-driven design. Responsibilities:

  • Follows up on "raw" leads that come from marketing to "qualify" them via phone with the goal to convert it into a "scheduled meeting" for Director, Business Development. Meets or exceeds required number of outbound sales calls per day.
  • Prospects against target lists of named accounts with the goal of reaching the appropriate person to "schedule an introductory meeting" for the Account Director.
  • Able to overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Meets or exceeds targeted sales quotas.
  • Identifies who the most appropriate decision maker is within the organization and initiating a conversation with the decision maker to introduce Sweet Caesar's products & services and educate the decision maker on what value our software.
  • Emphasizes features, benefits and advantages of products and/or services.
  • Maintains complete and accurate records of all prospecting activity in CRM.
  • Follows up with Account Directors on assigned leads to obtain current status.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years cold calling, demand generations and online marketing experience in a B2B environment
  • Excellent interpersonal,communication, teamwork, presentation and project management skills
  • 1 to 5 years of marketing experience in general
